IndustrialGuard: Access Engineered Around Equipment That Cannot Move

In a production facility the equipment is fixed, the layout is already built, and the platform has to fit what is there — engineered around the plant rather than the other way round.

01
The constraint

The Equipment Is Fixed. The Platform Has to Fit.

An aircraft can be towed into a hangar built for it. A turbine, press, or reactor vessel cannot be moved to suit the access equipment — so the platform has to be engineered around an equipment footprint and a building that already exist.
Fitting an existing footprint // PlanFixed Plant
Standard platformFixed geometry

A rectangle in a room that is not one

  • Deck runs through the plant footprint — the equipment has to be worked around.
  • Corners of the bay go unused because the shape cannot follow the building.
IndustrialGuardFootprint-first

Access that wraps what is already there

  • Deck routes around the plant and reaches it from three sides.
  • Bay volume is used, and the equipment never moves.
A standard platform forces the facility to work around the equipment. IndustrialGuard is engineered so the equipment stays where it is and the access reaches it.
02
The environment

Engineered for Continuous Industrial Operation

Industrial facilities subject access equipment to extreme vibration, heavy loads, and continuous operational demand at the same time — the conditions IndustrialGuard is built to hold up under.
01 · Condition

Extreme vibration

Continuous machine operation transmits vibration into every structure attached to or standing near it.
02 · Condition

Heavy loads

Industrial maintenance brings tooling, parts and multiple technicians onto a platform at once.
03 · Condition

Continuous demand

There is rarely a quiet period — equipment access is needed while production continues around it.
What failure costs here
Equipment access failures in these settings can halt production across an entire facility, not just a single work area.

Solution

Elevated Access

The broader access category IndustrialGuard belongs to — platforms, crossovers and stair towers as one connected path.

Custom-Engineered Manufacturing

For a facility whose footprint has no catalog equivalent at all.

Where JE excels

Where JE Excels

The same structural engineering discipline behind JE’s aerospace and marine lines, applied to the one environment where the asset cannot be moved to suit the equipment.

A1 · Advantage

Engineered around the footprint, not the catalog

IndustrialGuard platforms are designed to a facility’s existing equipment layout and building constraints, rather than asking the facility to accommodate a standard configuration.
A2 · Advantage

Built for the three conditions at once

Extreme vibration, heavy loads and continuous operational demand arrive together in an industrial facility — the structural discipline behind IndustrialGuard is specified for all three, not one at a time.
A3 · Advantage

The same discipline proven in aerospace and marine

The structural engineering behind IndustrialGuard is the discipline applied on JE’s SkyGuard and HarborGuard lines, carried into the environment where the asset itself cannot be moved.
The same discipline, four environments
