Whether components arrive from JE’s own fabrication process or from a customer’s existing supply chain, assembly is the step where individual parts become a functioning system — and where fit, alignment, and joint integrity determine whether the finished product actually performs as designed.

02 Process

How Does JE Assemble and Inspect a Finished Component or System?

Stage 01 · Before the design is final

JE joins components using MIG and TIG welding performed by welding personnel, checks fit and alignment against the original specification, and inspects the completed assembly before it’s finished and delivered.

Components arrive as separate pieces. Fit and alignment are established at the assembly bench and checked before the joint is made.

At the bench

Aligned by geometry

Self-fixturing tab-and-slot features are cut into the components during fabrication. The parts locate against each other and snap together, and the weld follows.

At the cutting table

The completed assembly is checked against the original specification before it is finished and delivered.
